Geli (Angelika) Häusl

State fully qualified ski instructor and ski guide

Nationality: Austrian

Base: St Anton am Arlberg

As a top-level certified ski instructor, ski and mountain guide, Geli is not just highly experienced, but also an expert when it comes to coaching women.

Geli was born, raised and still lives in Strengen am Arlberg, a small village 10 minutes outside St. Anton am Arlberg. Before she decided to make skiing her profession, she travelled the globe to ski in the furthest corners of the world- including Iran, Alaska, Argentina, Nepal and Scandinavia. In addition, Geli has been on the podium for of international free-ride competitions and participated in multiple ski films such as : “Headscarf vs Beanie” - an all girls’ ski trip to Iran and “Elements”- an arty travel freeride movie.

Geli is married to Stefan Häusl- a fellow freerider - and together they have a 6-year-old daughter. 

With her cheerful nature and passion for skiing- she inspires confidence and a love of the sport- for all skiers, from beginner to expert level.

In the summer Geli switches her skis for her hiking boots and leads various tours around the Arlberg including our Arlberg summer hut-to-hut tour.
