Lying between the two beautiful cities of Merano and Bolzano, Lana offers a peaceful and scenic base for all manner of activities- from hiking and biking, to visiting historic sights, wine-tasting and simply soaking up the famous South Tyrolean sunshine!

For departures from Munich City we assist in the coordination of car-sharing. Please let us know upon registration if you are interested in this option.

From Munich

By Car (3hrs 30 mins)

Munich - Scharnitz- Brenner - Brixen – Bozen/Bolzano-  Lana

Toll charges

Austria – For the motorway you will need the Vignette (€8.80 for 10 days)

Italy – Brenner Pass toll (approx. €9 each way) & road tolls apply (approx. €6-10)

TOP TIP: Fill your car tank up in Scharnitz, Austria for the most economical petrol/diesel!

We can totally recommend this route- cheap as chips if you book in advance and with free wifi on the bus, you can sit back and enjoy a beautiful journey through the Alps! Busses go three times a day!
